It is 1881, Lord Hockton, the benefactor of the Eastgate Avenue Workhouse, has thrown a party for the workhouse inmates. It is most unusual for a Workhouse to throw any sort of party for their inmates, it is normally a very harsh environment - so you can guarantee that it is going to be a very interesting evening indeed. But why are some of the inmates of the Eastgate Workhouse disappearing - Never to be seen again? And what is the real reason behind Lord Hockton's generosity?

The Mercure Burton upon Trent Newton Park is a grand Italianate-style country manor 4 Star hotel perfect for Murder Mystery breaks. The hotel is situated in 8 acres of private grounds and is a grade-II listed building, former home of the Staffordshire brewer William Worthington.
