The Plot

The Paradise Players have spent years bringing a little slice of Caribbean sunshine to audiences across the country. Their tropical murder mystery evenings have become the stuff of legend: colourful cocktails, loud shirts, and laughter… and a detective guaranteed to solve the crime before coffee.

But tonight’s performance at the hotel was never going to go according to script.

As the cast prepare to take to the stage, backstage disagreements erupt into open hostility. Friendships are hanging by a thread, relationships have turned sour, and rumours are spreading faster than the evening’s rum punch.

Then, at the start of the entertainment, one member of the company is found dead.

With the hotel thrown into chaos and suspicion falling on everyone involved, guests must navigate a tangled trail of secrets, grudges and deception hidden beneath the tropical glamour.
