    I have tested positive for COVID-19 or need to self-isolate

    If you test positive for COVID-19 or have been asked to self-isolate, please let us know as soon as possible and we will liaise with the hotel to see if we can transfer your booking. Please also be aware, that if there is any positive cases amongst staff at this venue, or the event cannot go ahead due to COVID, we will email and call you to make you aware.

    What measures are in place regarding COVID-19

    Please be aware that we are now selling at full capacity and you may be seated with other guests at your table, up to a total of 10 per table.

    The hotel will be following their own guidelines and please check the hotels website for further details regarding this.

    Actors will still be interactive with guests from a safe disance, so make sure you are ready with your interrogation questions.

    I've made a booking but wish to cancel-what should I do?

    Should you or any member of your party need to cancel your booking you may do so, as long as this is at least 8 days prior to the event, by either telephoning 0121 3186348 or email [email protected]

    Please be aware that cancelations made directly to Murder 57 are only applicable during office opening hours. If a cancelation is received on a weekend, then this may be classed within 8 days prior to the event and subject to no refund.  

    Cancellations made directly with the venue will not be effective.

    Why was my event cancelled?

    Occasionally we need to cancel an event because of circumstances beyond our control due to practical or financial constraints. We endeavor to inform all those affected as soon as possible and offer an alternative date, venue or full refund, dependent upon circumstance.

    I have a disability - is this going to present a problem?

    We will always try to make it easy for you if we can, an extra set of evidence for your table or anything that we can help you with could enhance your evening’s entertainment.

    Please do inform us as soon as possible if you do require a disabled access room or additional support, so we can confirm this with the hotel.

    Could you advise me on the dress code or any special instructions for the evening?

    For each event you will be sent a confirmation which informs you about times, venues and performance start times. It also outlines the plot for you and offers tips on the optional dress code- bring it with you for reference or to use as your booking reference.

    Can I make an Amendment to my Booking?

    Yes, amendments to bookings such as; menu choices, name changes etc can be made up to 14 days prior to an event.

    Please contact us during Monday-Friday Office hours to make any amendments. Amendments with regards to bedrooms are always subject to availability.

    Can we sit with our own friends?

    Please do inform us if your group has booked separately and you would all like to be seated together. At most of our venues the tables can seat up to 10 guests, so if you are a party of 10 or less we will always seat you with your group.

    What time will my event start?

    Often the evenings start for you at 7.30pm but check your booking confirmation if in doubt.

    Do we need to dress up?

    Often it adds to the fun atmosphere if you dress with the theme but we want you to have a brilliant evening with us so it’s your choice.

    Do I need to bring anything?

    Bring a pen and notepad if you want to make notes, reading glasses and of course your sharpest wits and listening skills for picking up clues.

The actors do not hold any clues about their person, in their clothing or bags.
