The Pendulum Hotel is a 3 Star hotel perfect for Murder Mystery breaks. Located in the heart of Manchester city centre, just a short walk to the attractions, bars, Manchester Piccadilly Station and the brilliant shopping areas. 

Guest bedrooms at the Pendulum Hotel are of modern and contemporary design. All rooms include en-suite bathroom, flat-screen TV with Freeview, Free WiFi and tea and coffee facilities, a perfect retreat after an action-packed murder mystery evening.

Guests will receive a delicious 3 course evening meal whilst the murder mystery takes place in one of the hotels function rooms. Murder Mystery guests can then spend the day relaxing in the hotel bar or why not explore Manchester City Centre and enjoy some retail therapy.

Please be aware, there is now a City Visitor supplementary charge of £1.00 per room per night, for all bookings arriving on and after the 1st April 2023.  This payment will be taken at check in at the hotel on the day of arrival.

Starters

  • Tomato and roasted red pepper soup served with basil oil (V)(GF)(VE)
  • Chicken and smoked ham terrine served with red onion marmalade, sea salt sourdough toast
  • Honey dew and cantaloup melon rose served with mango sorbet raspberry coulis and toasted coconut (V)(GF)(VE)

Mains

  • Chicken supreme stuffed with sundried tomato mozzarella cheese wrapped with smoked bacon and a white wine shallot cream sauce(GF)
  • Seared fillets of sea bass with buttered spinach and a tarragon hollandaise sauce(GF)
  • Butternut squash kale and apricot vegan roast and a tomato basil sauce(VE)(GF)(V)

Desserts

  • Sicilian Luscious lemon cheesecake served with a lemon curd sauce and fresh strawberries (V)
  • Chocolate brownie with vanilla bean ice cream salted caramel sauce and fresh raspberries (V)(GF)(VE)
  • Steamed syrup sponge served with warm English custard a caramelised apple compote(V)

  • Rosette of honey dew and cantaloupe melon, raspberry coulis (V, VE, GF, H)
  • Chicken and cognac pate, red onion marmalade, sourdough sea salt toast, dressed rocket

Mains

  • Traditional garlic and sage roast turkey, sage and cranberry stuffing, all trimmings with seasonal gravy (GF)
  • Baked cod loin with a cheddar cheese herb crust, buttered new potatoes, honey glazed carrots and a tomato basil sauce (H, GF)
  • Butternut, kale and apricot vegan roast, vegetables and hassleback potatoes and a rich vegetarian gravy (V, VE, H)

Desserts

  • Traditional Christmas pudding with warm brandy sauce (V)
  • Orange Chocolate Tart with orange served with forest berry compote (V, VE, H, GF)
